Discerning Pre-Step 4 of 6

WHY DO WE HAVE NOT?

4. TALK TO HIM! (Philippians 1:9-11; Colossians 1:9-10)

            The most overlooked part of discerning God’s will: Telling God our heart (needs and desires).  Praying that God will focus our hearts along the way is absolutely necessary!

Why do we have not? – James 4:2b-3 (cf. I Kings 3:1-14 and James 1:5).

Lack of asking!

AND

Lack of God-Centered motives! (Where’s the FOCUS?!?)

 

Jeremiah 33:3 – “Call to Me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.”
