DO WE WANT TO FOLLOW STEPS OR A SHEPHERD?

5. TRUST HIM! (Psalm 62:8)

 

When Nothing Else Matters

        Surrendering to and trusting in Jesus for salvation is always the first step in knowing and doing the will of God.

 

The Mathematical Theology of Faith: Biblical waiting is trusting plus time.

Isaiah 64:4 – “From of old no one has heard or perceived by the ear, no eye has seen a God besides You, who acts for those who wait for Him.”

        We are to wait actively.  We are to continue to seek Him, serve Him, submit to Him, talk to Him, trust Him, and test all things as we wait in faith for Him to illuminate to us His good, pleasing, and acceptable will for how He wants to glorify Himself in and through our lives. 

Psalm 25:5 – Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; for You I wait all the day long.”

(Psalm 27:14; 37:7, 9, 34; 40:27-30).
