There is a New York Times column that is a MUST READ for every Christian, and really every American. 

Here are my two favorite quotes:

The new movie, “Angels and Demons”, has been millions of people.  It is based on Dan Brown’s book, as was The Da Vinci Code, which caused quite a stir.

There is a website dedicated to the respectful, thoughtful, wise, and accurate response to this new movie, “Angels and Demons“.  It is all about telling the truth, and nothing but the truth.  

It is a great website for non-Christian skeptics, Christians who are curious about the claims found within the book or the movie based on the book, and for those Christians who want to be educated and ready to give a reasonable defense for what they believe and why they believe it.  Check it out!

Death is not dying, for a Christian.

I highly recommend clicking on the following link to watch a 55 min. video of a young wife and mother who is dying of cancer talk about why her death is not going to be her dying: Death is not dying.

There is a fundamental difference between every other relgion (including those who claim not to be a relgion) and Christianity.  This difference is found in the Second (secundum) Gospel (evangelium) we see in Genesis chapter 3 is in verses 20-24.  Let’s get some background in order to understand it.

God breathed life into Adam, the man from dust (Genesis 2:7).

God put the “tree of life” in the midst of the Garden of Eden (Genesis 2:9).

God, in the cutting of the Covenant of Works, promised certain death for disobedience and thus also life for obedience (Genesis 2:15-17).
