This blog exists to glorify God by proclaiming, explaining, and applying the Word of God to all areas of life in a radical way.
What does it mean to be Radically Biblical? It means purposefully seeking to understand and adhere to what God says in His Word about everything we attempt to say, do, think, sing, play, and everywhere we go. Not just what we do but also how, when, where, and why we do it. This comes from a strong and sure belief in the Necessity, Authority, Inerrancy, Infallibility, Sufficiency (Efficacy/Efficiency), and Perspicuity (Clarity) of Scripture. Staying as close and as dependent as we can to God’s Word is the only sure way there is to be the faithful, God-Centered, Christ-Exalting, Sinner-Saving, Saint-Sanctifying and Preserving, Holy Spirit-Dependent, and Great Commission-Fulfilling people that we have been called to be. His Way or no way! Constant Biblical evaluation of what we believe and do (as well as how and why) is a must for accurately displaying and adhering to this value of being Radically Biblical in all things to the glory of God in Christ Jesus.
This is radical in that most people in the world do not think or live this way, nor do they value when others do.

Hi i came accross your blog and you seem to have a lot of answers. I have been a Christian for several years, without any doubt. Until I saw this movie called zeitgeist. Its online for free at zeitgeistmovie.com (my friend told me to watch it even though it might be offensive if i want to know the truth). It really got to me in the fact that if all that it said is true than how can the bible be 100% true. I dont doubt the fact that it was written by god but a lot of things in it match up with religions and myths that existed before christianity… is it the devil that went back in time and made this stuff up do deceive us or is it god testing us? I don’t care about the 9/11 thing in the middle of the movie i know it cant be true our government cant be that bad i just want to know why they would say that stuff about the bible in a documentary witch contains historical accuracy…
Thanks, Jordan

Jordan, thanks for the comment/question. I can always appreciate honest questions. First, let me say that the devil does not have the ability to travel back in time and God very often does provide many times of trials and testing (James chapter 1). With that said, this movie is full of lies (and satan is the father of lies, so…), but God is still sovereign and thus He is not caught off guard by this movie. Secondly, the lies in the movie are so very overt that it reveals much about those who believe it. Thirdly, there are so many historical innaccuracies in this movie that it is not worth watching. Fourthly, there will always be people and groups trying to persecute and unravel Jesus, the Bible, and Christianity, so this is not new, unique, or a fad. What you (we) need to do is to become grounded in the Truth so that when the winds of false teachings blow (and they will always be blowing until Christ returns) we will not be shaken, but rather we will recognize them for the lies they are. Fifthly, This “documentary” (conspiracy propoganda) has so poor of evidential support it would be laughable if not so sad. Sixthly, the movie is filled with rhetoric, style, and emotive images instead of logical statements, supported, evidential content, and rational, unbiased reasoning. The movie is put together in such a way as to “move” you. I don’t know if this is also a book or not, but if so it must pale in comparison to the movie’s popularity. Why? Because we are a entertainment-driven, image-saturated, style-loving culture! We want to be moved, not convinced. Lastly, the reliability of the Bible has been proven over and over again. The historicity of Jesus is almost never questioned by any scholar, because it is so well attested to. There are so many clear, easy, and accessible sources to refute everyone of the zeitgeist’s claims. If you would like some basic arguments for what I have just said about the reliability of Jesus and the Bible, just let me know and I’ll get you some good stuff. Here are a few links for you to go to, specifically about the movie (and there are millions more):

First of all, although I could be wrong, I don’t think that this is the same “confused Christian” that commented earlier. The content and the tone are vastly different. Secondly, if this is the same person, it seems that the attitude with which you are now writing is argumentative and disprespectful, lacking the same sincerity and humility with which you wrote before. Thirdly, you are using many of the same arguments that have been given and answered more than sufficiently before. It seems to me that you have switched (again, if this is the same person) from honestly asking questions to now antogonistically trying to change my mind and/or get me to argue with you. It is not the point of this blog, nor a good idea, in my opinion, to carry on the converstation with such people. I sincerely apologize if my comments have not been received well. I honestly mean no harm or disprespect. My intention is to merely share the Truth in love. Please seek to humbly and sincerely search for the Truth. I pray that God will show it to you.
